Monica is a communications consultant based out of the Florida office.

Specializing in public relations, legislative communications and communications strategy, Ms. Medlicott is dedicated to delivering successful communications strategies to our clients’ most complex public relations campaigns.

Prior to joining Navigators, Ms. Medlicott worked as the corporate relations project manager for the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH) where she led fundraising efforts, coordinated special events and actively managed nearly 100 private and public partnerships with organizations, such as Florida Emergency Management Agency, USAA and the National Weather Service. 

Ms. Medlicott has also worked as the director and statewide project coordinator for the Florida reBuilds Program, an initiative created by Governor Jeb Bush (R-FL) to train 11,000 individuals in the construction industry.  While serving in this capacity, Ms. Medlicott represented the state to the media on issues, such as labor shortage, hurricane mitigation and affordable housing.

Throughout her career, Ms. Medlicott has been a keynote speaker and has given countless presentations at events, such as the Congressional Black Caucus, the Florida Coalition for the Homeless Conference, the Women’s Council of Realtors and the Florida Governors Hurricane Conference.

Ms. Medlicott is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Communication Studies and Mass Communication.
