Ron Christie is a vice president of Navigators based out of the Washington, D.C., office.

Mr. Christie, a veteran senior advisor of both the White House and the U.S. Congress, brings years of government relations experience to Navigators. Most recently, he was executive vice president and director of global government affairs at Ruder Finn, Inc. and of Counsel at Patton Boggs, LLP.

From 2002 through 2004, Mr. Christie was acting director of USA Freedom Corps and special assistant to President George W. Bush. In 2001, he began service at the White House as deputy assistant to Vice President Dick Cheney for domestic policy.

Prior to joining the Vice President's staff, Mr. Christie briefly served as counsel to former U.S. Senator George Allen (R-VA) and as senior advisor to former House Budget Committee Chairman John Kasich (R-OH).

Mr. Christie is an active voice on television, radio and print where he regularly delivers political commentary. He is a contributing commentator on National Public Radio, and serves as a contributing columnist to The Hill where he writes a blog on current political events. Mr. Christie has appeared as a political and legal analyst on Hannity & Colmes, The O'Reilly Factor, FOX & Friends, Hardball with Chris Matthews, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Tavis Smiley Show and Fox News Sunday. He has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and several leading publications for his political expertise.

Mr. Christie is the author of Black in the White House, which was published by Nelson Current Publishing in 2006. Mr. Christie received a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University National Law Center and a Bachelor's of Administration from Haverford College.
